We are looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team! You will install, service, and repair commercial heating and air conditioning systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
  • Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in HVAC – 5 years verifiable heavy commercial

Sheet Metal Installer:
Responsible for installation of commercial and industrial HVAC sheet metal materials. Position requires ability to assist the sheet metal supervisor/foreman, project manager and service department and the ability to work extended hours at times. Qualified candidates know and follow all OSHA regulations and safety protocol. They will pass I9 verification with right to work in the United States and will pass a criminal background investigation.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for installing mechanical equipment
  • Maintain workflow schedule to ensure productivity objectives are met
  • Coordinate with other trades on site
  • Know and adhere to strict safety standards

Requirements of the HVAC Sheet Metal Installer

  • Minimum 3+ years of verifiable sheet metal installation experience preferred
  • Basic trade hand/power tools
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation – essential
  • Dependable and able to work 40 hours a week
  • Must be of good moral character and work well with others
  • Must have a cleared background investigation as we work in sensitive areas that sometimes require government clearance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience in the sheet metal trade
  • Good communications skills and ability to successfully interact with employees and clients on an acceptable professional level
  • Ability to be on time, meet deadlines and follow instructions received from supervisor.
HVAC Pipe Fitter:
We are seeking a HVAC Journeyman Pipefitter proficiency in fabricating and installing various HVAC piping systems is a fundamental requirement for this position. The HVAC Pipefitter is tasked with completing projects in a timely manner. This position will maintain high quality performance on the job, excellent working relationships with customers, a high level of coordination and communication with team members.

Responsibilities:

include but are not limited to include ensuring that all work is carried out in strict compliance with applicable codes, specifications, and Controlled Air

  • Proficient in pipe-fitting techniques such as soldering, brazing, and welding.
  • Knowledge of plumbing codes and standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience with tube bending and caliper usage for precise measurements.
  • Familiarity with fire sprinkler fitting installation.

Duties

  • Install, assemble, and maintain pipes and pipe systems according to specifications and codes standards.
  • Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand tools or machines.
  • Weld, solder, or braze pipes and fittings together using various techniques such as FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding).
  • Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.
  • Inspect and test installed pipe systems for leaks or defects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of pipe systems.

Controls Technician

We are seeking a HVAC Journeyman Pipefitter proficiency in fabricating and installing various HVAC piping systems is a fundamental requirement for this position. This position will maintain high quality performance on the job, excellent working relationships with customers, a high level of coordination and communication with team members.

Qualifications:

  • Tridium N4 certification required, addition of Tridium Niagra AX certification preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems
  • extensive knowledge of Tridium, Cylon, ABB Building Automation Systems and other building subsystems
  • Demonstrated experience in the integration of low voltage building sub-systems using various industry protocols (i.e., BACnet, N2, Modbus, LON, etc.)
  • Demonstrates advanced computer skills, and comfortable with computer related drafting tools
  • Must have experience in a service vehicle, doing service work for an HVAC contractor, running calls solo, and the ability to work with a team
  • Must have experience in the commercial HVACR industry and have large building construction style start-up/project experience
  • Must possess advanced troubleshooting skills, extensive retrofit/component change out experience (large compressors, large fan motors, 10-120 ton commercial rooftop units, air cooled chillers, etc.)
  • Must be comfortable working in high stress, commercial job-site scenarios
  • Must be computer literate, and possess analytical and diagnostic skills
  • Must have own tools
  • Must be reliable and have excellent communication skills, both oral and written to represent the company with customers and other outside contacts in an ethical and professional manner
  • Possesses the ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people

Responsibilities

  • Under minimal supervision, conducts preventive maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, and general servicing of systems; includes detailed troubleshooting of Building Automation Systems
  • Responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction through direct, on site, customer interface
  • With a strong level of broad technical competence, mentors’ technicians on building automation activities
  • Completes project and service documentation with detail and accuracy
  • Installs, diagnoses and repairs complex control systems’ malfunctions requiring extensive knowledge of Tridium, Cylon, ABB Building Automation Systems, with the ability to install, test and write modifications in system software
  • Consults with customers after gathering data and conducting site assessments
  • Provides field proposals for retrofits, upgrades and repairs to existing equipment, and installation of new equipment
  • Assists sales team with technical recommendations for leads or customer visits as needed
  • Manages assigned work professionally, efficiently, and with customer satisfaction
  • Provides sketches of field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections and drawings
  • May assist with job layouts and bid proposals
  • Routinely checks in and out with customers during site visits, reporting problems or changes timely for the situation

  • Creates flow diagrams, sequence of operations, material cost estimates, network layouts and electrical schematics as required
  • Assists in the development and testing of software programs necessary to operate systems per the intent of job scope requirements
